Dr. Beth Gibbins, DVM, Diplomate ACVO

 

 Dr. Beth Gibbins has been providing ophthalmic services to the Animal Emergency Clinic of North Alabama since 2005.

 

Originally from Anniston, Alabama, Dr. Gibbins graduated from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. After spending four years in general practice, she returned to Auburn to complete an ophthalmology internship and residency. She is currently a Diplomate and board certified member of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists.

 

In 2004, Dr. Gibbins founded Animal Eye Center in Birmingham, Alabama, and then opened a satellite office here in Huntsville in the spring of 2005. Patients are seen by referral and appointment only. Dr. Tomeshia Hubbard DVM

 

 

Dr. Hubbard Dr. Tomeshia Hubbard is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She acquired her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Shortly after finishing veterinary school, she joined Red Mountain Animal Clinic as a small animal practitioner. She then went on to complete a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at Indianapolis Veterinary Specialist and Animal Emergency Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 2004. Thereafter, Dr. Hubbard joined Banfield, The Pet Hospital in Morrow, Georgia, as a small animal practitioner for two years. She also completed a three year veterinary dermatology residency at the Atlanta Veterinary Skin and Allergy Clinic in Atlanta, Georgia, with adjunct training at the University of Georgia. Her residency training was completed in 2009.

 

She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Jefferson County Veterinary Medical Association, the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association, the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and is licensed in the states of Alabama, Georgia and Indiana. Dr. Hubbard moved back home to Birmingham, Alabama, to share her dermatology training and expertise with the veterinarians in this area and the surrounding counties. Dr. Hubbard’s veterinary allergy and dermatology service (Alabama Veterinary Allergy and Dermatology Service) operates within Red Mountain Animal Clinic in Birmingham and the Animal Emergency Clinic of North Alabama in Huntsville, Alabama.

 

Dr. Hubbard’s interests include reading journals and novels, shopping, horseback riding, traveling and modern dancing. She also enjoys mentoring teenagers and young adults and encouraging them to pursue a college education. She has a cat named Misty and four dogs named Neno, Dingo, Mink and Big Boy.
